The persimmon also known as Palo Santo, is a delicious tropical fruit, in Frutas Charito we have it in bulk format. The piece has approximately a weight of between 0.200 Kg and 0.250 Kg. It is a fruit in expansion, which is beginning to become fashionable in haute cuisine, given its gastronomic qualities: obviously sweet, delicate, consistent and not rough pulp, peels easily, and can also be consumed fresh.
When the persimmon has reached a point of ripening, it becomes a very soft fruit and jelly-like inside, so much so that it can be eaten with a spoon. If it is green, leave it in a paper bag at room temperature until it ripens. In refrigerator it can be kept for 2 weeks.
